These Santa sleighs are super cute, easy and cheap to make. The kids will have a blast helping make them!
Things you will need:
Candy Canes
Hersheys Chocolate Bars
Chocolate Santas
Large Bag of Mixed Candy
Shiny Gift Paper (found a decent size package at Dollar Tree for $1)
Roll of Ribbon (found a 4-pk at Dollar Tree for $1)
Hot Glue Gun (help kids so they don't get burned!)
Tape
Directions:
*Hot Glue two candy canes to bottom of Hershey candy bar (like shown in picture) to make sleigh. Let dry.
*Cut gift paper into squares big enough to fill with a small handful of candy. Tie closed with ribbon. Use scissors to curl ends of ribbon.
*Hot Glue Santa's bag to sleigh.
*Roll a piece of tape up to make it sticky on both sides and use it to stick Santa to his bag.
That's it!!
Alternative Directions
You can make these the same way but bigger, by using the M&M filled (large) candy canes, a LARGE candy bar (from the candy isle, not king-sized) and a bigger chocolate Santa and a bigger Santa's bag of candy.
Enjoy!! These were very fun to make with the kids :)
