    How Do You Save Money On Birthday Gifts For Your Kids?



    Do you know how to shop CHEAP for your kid's birthdays and still get them gifts they will love?? The key is to buy things when they are ON SALE or out of season and put them away until you need them.

    My daughter's birthday is coming up in a few weeks and I got her all these gifts for $23. Retail value~over $100.

    Here's how:

    *Birthday Card- $0.99
    January CVS deal- Buy 3 American Greetings Cards, use $2/3 American Greetings card printable coupon, get back $3 ECB's ($2.03 Moneymaker PLUS 3 FREE cards)
    Final cost- FREE

    *Birthday Gift Bag- FREE
    American Greetings, the price on the bottom says $4.79
    Reused from one of my birthday gifts last year. Do you reuse your gift bags?? :)

    *Digital Video Camera- $4.99
    Found on clearance at CVS. Regular Price $39.99
    This will be her favorite present, she LOVES making her own videos!

    Found in the after Christmas clearance at Walmart, was $10.00

    *Lip Gloss- $0.25
    Walmart Christmas clearance, was $1.00

    *Hair Brush- $0.25
    Walmart Christmas clearance, was $1.00
    Final cost for last 3 items- $1.87

    *5-pack Girl's Underwear- $1.95
    Found at a local resale shop (of course they're NEW IN PACKAGE lol), original sticker said $6.99

    *Adorable Pink Snow Globe- $0.95
    Found at a resale shop, not sure of original price
    My daughter collects snow globes, she loves ANY one you can find :)
    Final cost- $3.10 for the last two items

    * (2) Christmas Cartoon Snow Globes- $0.10 each
    Found at Walgreens in after Christmas clearance bin, regular price $1.99 each
    Final cost- $0.21

    MY COST FOR EVERYTHING- $23.00

    RETAIL VALUE- AT LEAST- $100


    AND.......

    My little ones are a little bit spoiled, so when it's one's birthday, the other gets a little something too.

    *(2) Transformer Toys- $9.99 each
    I picked these up at Target last October.
    Used (2) $5/1 Transformer toys Target mobile coupon (used mine and my husbands phones)
    AND (2) $5/1 Transformer toys manufacturer coupons
    Final cost- FREE
